Harrison Hot Springs is a village with an old fashioned feel, where the owners still work in their own shops, the regulars go for coffee every morning at Kim's Cafe and you don't have to pay for parking; The Jones Boys are still playing at the Copper Room, and the Copper Room itself still maintains a 'no jeans' dress code. There are no honking horns or wailing sirens and a lot of the original buildings are still in use. You can walk your dog around the lagoon or on the trail along the edge of the mountain; relax in the pool; visit the shops and chat with the people in them. Come to think of it, we do spend a lot of our time chatting with customers.
In Harrison everything is within walking distance. You can hike a trail, jump off the dock for a swim, go to the public Hot Springs pool, buy a gift for someone back home or have a lovely dinner and never use a car the whole time you are here.
